Today we celebrated the Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation. The small congregation allowed the focus to be on the sacraments and the children, it was an intimate and personal celebration.
I was so proud of each and every child today. The children were a credit to the school, their families and themselves. Their behaviour was exemplary. They all displayed great reverence and respect.
Thank you to Fr Baker and Mgr McCanny who celebrated both masses and for all their help, support, guidance and prayer to make the day so special for the children and their parents.
Thank you to Mrs Morrison, Miss Herron and Mr Duffy for preparing their classes. It was a pleasure providing the music.
