Looking for signs of Autumn
Last week the children were exploring our school grounds to look for signs of autumn. Even without leaving school, they discovered so many exciting changes happening all around them!
The children spotted leaves changing colour, from green to bright reds, oranges, and yellows. They found fallen leaves, pinecones, and even a few acorns hiding in the grass.
During their exploration, the children learned about biodiversity — how all the different plants, insects, and animals in our school grounds help to make a healthy environment. They were amazed by how much life there is right here in our beautiful school grounds.
Everyone enjoyed spending time outdoors, using their senses to see, hear, and feel the changes that autumn brings.
