At St. Finlough’s PS we aim to encourage and support a culture of life long learning. We were delighted to welcome Miss Logue from St. Mary’s Univeristy College, Belfast on her final year teaching practice. Miss Logue participated in school training sessions, while also shared the latest educational resources from St. Mary’s. Miss Logue specialised in the teaching of science and provided great opportunities for the Primary 4/5 children. She displayed great enthusiasm and flair for teaching. We would like to wish her all the best in her future teaching career and her final exams later on this year. Primary 4/5 ended her placement with us, with an insightful assembly on the UN convention of the Rights of the Child. Primary 4/5 spoke about the importance of the right to a name and a nationality and shared with us all the origin of their own name. Well done.
