St Finlough's Primary School Sistrakeel

Thank you St. Finlough's PS community

16th Oct 2020

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As Principal I am SO proud of each and every pupil within St. Finlough's PS.  We have had an excellent start to the 2020/21 school year.  We could never have imagined that hand washing, sanitising, bubbles and social distancing would become a normal part of school life.  We have managed to keep our school open every day- something which few schools have achieved to date.

I wish to express my thanks to our AMAZING staff team within St. Finlough's PS who have worked tirelessly to ensure our children have the best educational experiences alongside ensuring they are socially and emotionally well.

We are gutted that we are beginning another lockdown and hope that school will be reopen on 2nd November. Please keep safe, follow the guidelines and care for each other.

On a personal note I would like to express my sincere thanks to our wonderful pupils, parents/guardians and staff for all your amazing support and friendship throughout my time at St. Finlough's PS. Thank you for your generosity and kindness.

Both myself and Oliver have thoroughly enjoyed our time in the beautiful countryside of Glack. I have no doubt that St. Finlough's PS will continue to 'Educate & Care' for all those who enters it's doors.  I would like to thank the Board of Governors, Monsignor McCanny and Fr. Baker for all their help and direction.

I am delighted to be handing over the leadership role to Mrs Louise Lagan who  will continue to ensure the outstanding education for all at St. Finlough's PS.

Love & best wishes,

Suzann
